Alumni, friends and community members are invited to join Dean Sheryl Kennedy Haydel for the inaugural College of Music and Media Hall of Fame event. This event honors our accomplished alumni from the School of Communication and Design, and the School of Music and Theatre Professions. Join us on Wednesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at the New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old US Mint.

Commencement

A time of pomp, pride, and celebration, the Loyola University commencement exercises and festivities honor Jesuit traditions in New Orleans style. Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Smoothie King Center, located at 1501 Dave Dixon Drive in New Orleans.

Wolves on the Prowl

Wolves on the Prowl is Loyola University New Orleans' annual community service campaign. Through our mission as a Jesuit Catholic university, we prepare our students to lead meaningful lives with and for others and to work for a more just world. Alumni Jazz Brunch

Alumni gather in New Orleans each year for a Sunday jazz brunch at the beautiful Audubon Tea Room in historic Audubon Park for a delicious brunch, cocktails, jazz, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday, October 5, as part of Alumni and Reunion Weekend to honor the 2025 Adjutor Hominum Award recipient, Dr. Laura N. Beverly '79, and the Young Alumnus of the Year recipient, G. Samuel "Sam" McCabe '14.

Loyola University New Orleans alumni and supporters come together on the green each year to enjoy good food, golf, and friends—all while supporting Wolf Pack Athletics. The annual Wolf Pack Athletics Golf Tournament is one of the most fun and memorable ways to support Loyola New Orleans. We hope everyone had a great time at this year's tournament!

1912 Society Dinner

The 1912 Society Dinner is Loyola University New Orleans' annual gala event. Featuring live entertainment, a cocktail reception, a seated dinner, and an awards ceremony, the 1912 Society event is Loyola's most popular annual celebration. Loyola Loyal Day

Thank you for making Loyola Loyal Day such a meaningful success. Because of the incredible generosity of our Loyola community, alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends, we came together once again to support scholarships and programs that advance Ignatian excellence across campus.

From Noon on March 18 to Noon on March 19, your support made a real and lasting impact, and we are so grateful to everyone who gave, shared, and showed up for Loyola.

It was also a joy to celebrate together at YLC’s Wednesday at the Square. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Lafayette Square and stopped by the Loyola tent. It was a great reminder of how strong and connected the Wolf Pack truly is.

Your continued support fuels the experiences that define Loyola, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Reception

The Wolf Pack Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Reception was held on Saturday, January 24, 2026. The event honored those in Loyola's past who either made history or contributed greatly to their sport. Exceptional Loyola athletes are inducted into the Hall of Fame each year at an on-campus ceremony and reception. The St. Sebastian Award, honoring an individual who has made outstanding efforts on behalf of Wolf Pack Athletics, is also given at this annual event.
